Comedian Red Grant came to shut the city down this weekend in Memphis at Chuckles Comedy House . You may have seen Mr.Grant, who is a powerhouse comedian traveling with other raw and talented individuals like Kat Williams as well as big name movies like Leprechaun In The Hood. Yet last weekend, he brought his hilarious jokes right to Memphis focusing on his main topic making the crowd scream with laughter.
Click the link to watch this snippet of his legendary Murray jokes with over 500,000 views.
Teacher of the Game
Red Grant has been in the industry for over 20 years. Staring in a multitude of movies including Starz most recent original series Snowfall, the versatile comedian have taken over the industry in multiple areas. Red Grant is not only a comedian, yet a writer. He has had his talented skills placed into an array of movies and plays, not only that but spreading the love and joy of entrepreneurship to black communities as well. Here’s a snippet, of him expressing his love for the African American culture, while shopping at Lavish A. Luxe Boutique, here in Memphis, TN.
Although Snowfall is loved by many, Conversations with Evonne dug deeper into Mr.Grant’s career, that included original films of his early career, like “Leprechaun In The Hood” for instance. The story consist of a very frightening (not scary as far as Grant said), midget Leprechaun who’s idea was to kill those in sort who had connections to the robbery of his gold. Red Grant played a very comical part in this film as it was one of his biggest movies during his career. Yet Grant of course, was involved in projects a lot greater, including taking his versatility on the road with other raw comedians like himself Katt Williams, LuenellMelanie Comarcho and Mark Curry featuring in Katt House Comedy as well as the seriously funny American Hustle. These comedians are the teachers of the comedy game, who were some who started the African American comedy stand up scenes and are still relevant today.
Chuckles Comedy House Memphis
Yet with all of his past greatness the city of Memphis was very happy to have the comedian arrive in the Bluff last weekend. Red Grant did a 3 day show at Chuckles Comedy House December 11th-13th as Memphians couldn’t get enough of the powerhouse comedian. Chuckles Comedy House only brings in the best stand up comedy, of course Red Grant was in this line up.

If you missed the fun of the seriously funny comedian no worries! You could follow him on his social media handles @redgrant on Instagram. Be aware that his humor travels with him, so being in his light is like being at an actual show, other wise you might want to grab tickets to see him again. Of course the comedian will be back to Memphis, he loves it here, knowing that his visit to the Lorraine Motel is needed.

As a child, you dreamed of traveling outside of your city, or was taught to come up and leave where you are from. Your parents or the social cultural conversations instilled in you at home, could not be beautiful and what you make of it will be only terrible if you stay. Yet like Drake said, “it’s all right here in the city, and you don’t run from where you come from.” FatBoyCash indeed has brought “creativity,” to the hood. Being a kid from the trenches is different. The city moves fast, and poverty levels are high, especially in cities like Philly. It is not every day as children that someone will walk up to you and instill a dream into you, or even guide you on how to do things the right way. Yet, in the hood what is the right way? The streets will teach you many things, who is for you, who is not, yet one thing it will teach you the most as a young black man, is to rely on your talents to take you places. This is exactly what FatBoyCash did. Instead of running away from the streets of Philly he decided to turn them gold.
The “Artist” Artist
We will soon introduce you to the joy and love that FatBoyCash has for his city, as well as the knowledge he has for the city and how he maneuvers though them. With his entrepreneurship journey FatBoyCash has influence many, while also developing an idea name for himself. The “Artist”, recently received proclamation for the city, yet that didn’t defeat the fact of the artistic words that he is now putting on the paper. The three-time entrepreneur has touched all areas of his creativity and talent by landing himself next to the legendary Styles P in his new song “Gangsta.” FatBoyCash of course, is setting himself up to be on the of the legendary made men of Philadelphia.
The city will go crazy over this track. The single sounds like classic Philly rap especially since Styles P very known for his rap career as well has hit songs like “Good Times,” ft the legendary Jadakiss with over 2 million YouTube plays was featured. StylesP is known to be one of FBC’s childhood role models andhas also inspired The Artist to invest in his music career, this song is still relevant today. It is very likely that “Gangsta,” could be referenced as one of these tracks. FatBoyCash has raw talent, in which you could feel his writing as through is rap performances. The new single has a video releasing soon, giving you all emotion of what is being said in the song, and is a clear representation of the city of Philly, in which he proclaimed.
The new single has also been released on multiple music platforms, including iTunes, Spotify and Google Play. FatBoyCash has also been featured on This Is 50, a radio platform developed by 50 cent, who is a Hip-Hop artist, entrepreneur and big name in the music industry. With these connections, FatBoyCash will take the city of Philly to new levels with his upbeat, yet original style of music. “Gangsta,” ft StylesP will be releasing a visual soon, the two-artist got together and created magic, turning their hit single into a motion picture.
Music is a big deal as well in the creative African American community, our words have helped our communities develop in multiple ways, putting our hearts on paper with different beats and tunes. They say three times is a charm and FatBoyCash has reached his community in all three ways with his music, as well as through hair and food, yet we call it entrepreneurship & entertainment.
In Northeast Philly, FatBoyCash has been the buzz of the streets, painting them with every colorful idea that comes to mind on the way. With that being said, we are going to go on a little trip through the golden streets of Philadelphia, into the highly creative brand that Cash Miller created through the word “Artist.” If you would think long and hard into it, FatBoyCash is an innovative creator, he creates the movements and the hustles to get him and everyone else to where they are trying to go. His entrepreneurship journey has proven that your talent will most definitely take you places, and those places are sort of like the very own Head Artist Barber Shop, in which he is proud owner of setting a platform for other barbers to invest in their craft and of course, get themselves places. Talk about painting the streets gold, having money is one thing, yet setting someone else up for it is boss moves.
The Head Artist Philly is a place where many Philly natives of all cultural groups can come and get sliced by some of the most talent barbers in the area. FatBoyCash himself cranks up his clippers to express some artistic pressures into the scalps of customers who need fresh cuts to go about their day. The creativity of the name is stunning as all innovative ideas come from the head, and if you can take what’s from your head and implement it, it makes you a different individual aside from anyone else.
Artistic Philly cuisine is sold at Soul Food Artist daily.
Aside from cutting hair and being a role model, FatBoyCash knew the hearts of the Philly people was in the kitchen. Imagine the idea of sitting waiting to get a haircut, then eventually your hunger comes suddenly. Well, another interesting business that the Philly native himself invested in through his artist brand is “Soul Food Artist.” Looking at the photos of the delicious meals show that art could not only being in his barber shop, yet the kitchen. The Restaurant has an intensive menu, with many different foods to choose from including the overloaded chicken macaroni fries. Soul food is a big expression of love in the African American culture, the selection of foods and how it’s seasoned is ours, some say it’s your typical eating style, or after so many thanksgivings it could get boring. Yet FatBoyCash turned our culture into art, so that the aroma and presentation of the Restaurant could keep you coming back for more, even if one does not love chicken.
Your Talent Will Take You Places
As FatBoyCash used his talents to get him where he is today, he has also takenthe time to reach back into his community to enhance it. Through his entrepreneurship efforts, as well as heart for youth in the city, FatBoyCash has developed a program to donated backpacks to students in the Philadelphia school system. He has provided supplies for families and need, as well as free haircuts to students during his annual back to school drive. FBC not only loves what he does daily, but the lives of the people of Philadelphia which also influences him to keep going. With this as well as the “Artist” platform, the Philly native has received proclamation to the city of Brotherly Love. The proclamation was issued by the Mayor of Philadelphia, honoring, and recognizing FBC for his efforts in socialprenuership and using his talents to influence youth around him.
You Don’t Run From Where You Come From
It is all right here in the city of Philadelphia, and FBC has taken over. Within his efforts the hip-hop artist will continue to release music that the streets can relate to. For more information, the FBC visit him on Instagram or to listen to top hits and music from the artist visit his Spotify profile. There’s always a sheriff in town that has their rules and regulations sit tight, on how they want their city to be ran. Yet if we’re over exaggerating we will be using this in metaphoric terms to describe the pilot behind all major entertainment in Miami Beach Florida. For starts, the city of Miami is a big deal! Life is fast and some of the top people with major income, travel down to invest their time in the dream city as a get away. You would think when you hear of your friends or family traveling far to the “tip” of Florida that they are heading out the country, because Miami is different and during the hot summer, and or year round, it is DEFINITELY the place to be. From its hot beaches, to people flying in to visit all over, and it’s heap of multicultural residents, the magic city is a “different” yet exciting place to be. With that being said you have to be a different kind of person to survive there. This city isn’t like any other city, this city is more structural, richer and lively. This city is a place where almost everyone dreams to live as well as want to just stick their toes in the beaches of Miami Dade as the sun falls, or rises. Yet as far as walking the beach, eating, drinking and enjoying the social entertainment, you must know what Miami is most known for. That is of course, its fulfilling top of the line experience nightlife. Yes, night life. It’s clubs, bars, lounges and events set the tone for America because they are top notch. Believe it or not, Miami is so much known for its celebrity appearances that these A-listers are almost comfortable to hang out at majority of all lounges in the city. Therefore on a regular day you could maybe see Nicki Minaj sitting in a sectioned area enjoying free time with friends. This in fact is what EVERYONE longs for. This is the Magic City, this is top of the line food and entertainment, this is Miami Beach Florida.
The Executive of Miami Beach Entertainment
Money Matt snapping photos with his recording artist Barachi and other celebrities like: Yo Gotti, close friend Floyd Mayweather, Kevin Hart, NBA Star Kawhi Leonard, rap artist OT Genesis and many more.
Yet we got a chance, to get the scoop on one of its top executive entertainment bosses in the industry, Money Matt. That’s right Money Matt is a celebrity within himself. His high profile yet down to earth personality has landed him amongst the stars and developed close relationships with these individuals including the money man himself, Floyd Mayweather. Matt is not just any entertainment promoter or industry establishment owner, he is different. He is an entrepreneur and powerhouse in Miami Beach as he owns his own record producing label Done Deal Records and has big associations with Empire Records. Within this his recording artist Barachi has gone postal as he has recorded with top artist including OT Genesis and very well known Torey Lanez. From viewing this circle of work, Matt has shown us the importance of connections, which has helped him build his empire.
We may have introduced you to his array of high profile friends yet we must know he is the man himself. So therefore who exactly is Money Matt? Well he’s an entrepreneur, philanthropist, socialprenuer of Miami Beach Florida and Renaissance man of his time. Money Matt has changed the game of the thing we liked to call business and made himself a self-made millionaire and his own boss. Yet with all of this, he is in the business of putting other people on. Money, good times and investments flow all around him. Originally from Lauderhill, FL Matt was born into a lower-middle-class family. As a kid, Matt developed the reputation as a hard worker in his family, graduating high school and helping his family developed riches by tripling the income of their family carpet business. He then became a key prospect on the leadership team while advancing his entrepreneurship skills and then investing the skill into himself. With this being said, the king of Miami entertainment is good with numbers. This is probably why they start his name off with Money. People love money, yet Matt knows how to take care of it. With this being said, he then invested his skills and abilities in the the insurance industry, although Matt was good with coins and counting them as well, the real deal of business hit him, as his partnerships failed and the insurance company did not last as he wanted it. Yet that didn’t stop the pioneer, Matt set out on his journey alone, something that most entrepreneurs do when they enter into the world of entrepreneurial adventure. Matt then took his talents to the music industry helping multiple artist develop a name for themselves and start their high-end careers through his successful record label, Done Deal Records. The record label also landed him more major connections with big deal industry fellas like Empire Records, who have worked with countless celebrities including Young Blue, NBA Young Boy, and French Montana .
The Power Of Connections: Philanthropy
One thing you would learn from Money Matt and gravitate towards is his love for people. If you haven’t figured out anything from the Renaissance man you must see the connections are very important when it comes to your entrepreneurship journey. Matt does not just have connections to high profile and a-list celebrities, but the heart of others as he brings awareness to the aid of children with disabilities, and special needs. Mental health is important to Matt, especially for those disadvantages in children, for the kids are our tomorrow, and if anything we must all show gratitude and love to them so that they can develop into the best individuals that they aspire to be. The important of philanthropy through blessings has set the bar for others to give back to their communities, and Money Matt is sure of developing plans to help those with special needs outside of his care and connections, he developed reach, with this being said, he has made efforts to invest in a caregiving companies and parents of children who has these needs. This is the power of connections, this is the love that Matt has for people that have cake back to him 10 times fold.
Welcome to the party life. La V Brickell is one of the most exciting establishments to visit while you are in Miami. Located at 1250 S Miami Avenue Miami, Florida this bunch of nightlife is just what the Magic City wants to see, high end and professional. The scenery is great as neon lights fill the place and bottles with sparkles are popping as soon as you enter. Like before we told you Miami nightlife is different and this place is surely different as it is being ran by the one and only Money Matt.
Matt has developed a night club that all can come enjoy in Miami Beach. It’s diverse atmosphere keeps people on their toes as all sorts of genres or music is being played that everyone can enjoy. Turkey Weekend In Memphis Is Going To Be One To Remember
“Ain’t No Party Like A Curtis Givens Party”
The “pandemicprenuer” is at it again yet featuring “The Lifestyle Specialist” Kenny Burns. This turkey weekend is going to be one to remember in Memphis, as the cautious yet lively In Love Memphis opens it doors to Memphians and tourist for the 19th Annual All Black Affair. If you pay attention to what “annual” actually means, it is defined as yearly. That’s correct, the Givens brothers have been in the game 19 years and the quote “ain’t no party like a Curtis Givens party,” proves it. Tables are already sold out. What a way to set the place out, as America just seen it’s first black female president enter the White House, so the party must go on. With this being said, In Love Memphis saw its first night of all tables being sold out to WOMEN, as Curtis posted on his social media that the men, “must set up,” for the ladies, are at LoVe ready to party, and they are not letting up. From recent blogs of this establishment we have came to the conclusion that In LoVe is not just any ordinary Lounge in Memphis. It is a place where individuals go to celebrate achievements, black excellence and feel comfortable to actually let their hair down to enjoy all genres of music. We can’t help to mention the countless number of celebrities that have come to enjoy themselves at the establishment, including Money Bagg Yo and Ari The Don last weekend, and with all acknowledgement, they packed the place out. Yet who will the “pandemicprenuers” bring out next, that is Kenny Burns of course, and he is coming extra swagged out, with his V103 radio personality and voice.

The COVID pandemic has taken a huge toll on the lives of practically everyone on the planet. Recently, the exciting day to day activities we were use to, vanished before our eyes as businesses around the world closed to keep COVID out. There was confusion, a lost of millions of dollars, foreclosed businesses and bankruptcies filed, yet within all of this for an entrepreneur to come out on top, they had to have one skill that must be implemented throughout the process of “rebuilding.” Some say falling short throughout your life creates fear in the young entrepreneur who wants to make it big time, while others learn from those incidents. In a time like the COVID pandemic, one must show resilience, yet you could only gain that skill if you have been through as much as Memphis entertainment guru Curtis Givens. From reading the recent articles about Givens from Conversations with Evonne, we took you on a tour of his life within entrepreneurship. The Givens brothers had no shame in expressing the ups and downs they encountered as black business owners, yet from reading it all it has been clear that those moments developed them for a time such as this, and coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic this is why the brothers are still on top. Let’s look into the skill of real entrepreneurship and entertainment, and see how In Love Memphis made it work by keeping their Lounge open in the midst of a COVID-19 pandemic as well as following the strict rules of the CDC in order to stay open. My suggestion is, don’t try this at home.
All White Day Party with Memphis NBA Rookie of the Year
Did you say day party? We sure did. Saturday, September 5th In Love Memphis hosted an official NBA Day Party with NBA Rookie Of The Year, JA Morant. Yet how did the establishment still keep the night time vibes and bottle popping within the rules and regulations set for bars as well as lounges in Memphis, well, they started the party during the day. As an entrepreneur sometimes you have to play by the rules, and this is what In Love did. People from all over still came in their all white, with matching face mask to celebrate with the NBA rookie standing 6 foot 3 inches tall, 172 pounds as well as averaging 17.8 points a game at only 21 years of age, going strong for the Memphis Grizzlies. Within every lounge in Memphis, the young star chose In Love, to celebrate his accomplishments regardless of the strict rules as well as regulations set fourth. The fun lasted quite some time, yet to keep everything professional the lounge closed at exactly 10 o’clock p.m, following all directions given to keep the center of entertainment in Memphis open. Lights were turned out, the djay was shut down and people had to leave, yet Curtis reminded individuals on his social media platforms of the rules, that he loved his supporters and that it is all business and never personal. No matter what rules came fourth, that did not stop celebrities, memphians and sports fanatics flowing through the lounge. This party had just begun.
Brooklyn Nets Choose In Love Memphis To Host Day Party
Chris Chiozza and Jeremiah Martin realized that “following rules weren’t so bad after all.” The two contact Curtis Givens to have some “clean fun,” while they were in town. 7144 Winchester Road opened its doors to many socialites as well as young business men and women to kick back and relax in a great atmosphere on a Satur-DAY. YES, the lounge hosted another day party, yet this time individuals were quite use to the rules of leaving at 10 p.m. The Lounge was filled with just enough people to enjoy a quality meet and greet of the NBA Stars and many others around Memphis. Mask were on as people came and ate, socialize as well as had a couple drinks to finally enjoy the moments of “being out the house.” Yet why did everyone choose In Love Memphis, other than all the other lounges in Memphis, well that is because the networking the owners have established outside of the lounge, as well as like the said before, “treating all individuals with love,” and building off of it. The love of people and their establishment is what saved their business.
So What’s Next…..
The Curtis Givens Halloween Horror Story Party
A scary movie is next of course. If you think the lounge has stopped introducing you to new entertainment then we must think again. Especially since the Covid-19 restrictions have been somewhat lifted in Memphis, all lounges are now allowed to close at 12 a.m. This increases the lively hood as well as creativity of In Love Memphis, which is just in time for Halloween. That’s right folks In Love Memphis will be opening it’s doors for a spooky sight Saturday, October 31st for one of the DOPEST, Halloween costume parties in Memphis.
What To Expect
The Curtis Givens Halloween Horror Story Party is going to be a sight to see. Doors open at 6 p.m with no cover charge for women until 9 p.m. costumes are recommended, booths will be open and bottles will be going all night long! Because there is no party, like a Curtis Givens Party. For table and booth reservations contact (901) 417-8042 or (901) 485-1119. Mask ARE required.
Just when we thought the fun stops here, Saturday’s at In Love Memphis is about to get a little “spicy.” Ari The Don, girlfriend of Money Bagg Yo, Memphis rapper will be making a celebrity appearance at In Love Memphis. Come to the oasis of Memphis entertainment Saturday, November 7th to have a great time, while enjoying the celebrity like atmosphere. Tables are up for reservation and bottles will be going all night long. As stated before for table and booth reservations contact (901) 417-8042 or (901) 485-1119. Mask ARE required. For more information follow @inlovememphis on Instagram as well as @curtisgivens because there is no part like a Curtis Givens party!
Kahdejah Evonne is excited to announce that she will be hosting, branding and consulting her first big event here in her hometown, Memphis, TN the official Juneteenth Urban Music Festival. This year, the event will be June19th-June 21st. Every year, the Urban Music The festival will talk place this summer in Memphis, Tn. President Telisa Franklin has decided to use the most popular downtown location again Robert Church Park, which is located in the heart of downtown Memphis between the FedEx Forum and Beale Street. This year the event will be held during Father’s Day Weekend as thousands of city citizens will gather in the park to celebrate FREEDOM. If you don’t know much about Juneteenth and it’s celebrations, which are world wide here is a small rundown of what we do in Memphis.
The Juneteenth Urban Music Festival provides opportunities for entrepreneurs and business owners to market their goods, products and services to thousands. We also cater to the needs of children and youth though out the Memphis and surrounding communities. Juneteenth has a positive impact to our community during the festival with many exciting opportunities such as:
-Community Job/Empowerment Fair that is open to the public -City Wide youth evening of stars that allows young people across the city to exhibit their gifts and talents -Annual Gala honoring our citizens such as police officers, pastors, health care officials, and educators -We host a kids day festival that allows day cares, schools and community centers for food and fun all day -Encourage and empowers kids entrepreneurs to exhibit their creative businesses during the festival -We offer a peer mentorship and self-esteem for our children and youth -We host a free admission festival for the entire city to come and enjoy.
It was a night of love, laughter, success and fun as business owners, professionals as well as socially enthused individuals arrived at one of the biggest events of the year, The Curtis Givens Black Excellence Gala. Curtis Givens, owner of In Love Night Club, who is an outstanding business professional and influence in Memphis was very selfless, allowing Memphians to celebrate his birthday with him on Friday, February 7th. This indeed, is what black excellence is all about, coming together and toasting upon our success. This was not only his birthday celebration, but a celebration to all as well as a highlight of what is to come from successful individuals in Memphis. The event was top notch hosted at The Ballet Memphis, as ladies and gentleman entered the building in their flyest attire. The gala was good for Memphis, seeing millennials and business professionals transform into the class acts as they wore long stunning dresses as well as tuxedos. Not to mention the atmosphere which was filled with networking abilities.
Everyone who was someone or have a huge impact on the city of Memphis was in the building. Cocktails and coat tails flooded the room while women high stepped in their stilettos. Indeed, Memphis needs more events as these to keep the creativity and networking flowing. While being in this place you were even up close and personal with Memphis celebrities. Rapper Yo Gotti was in the building who is a Memphis native, arriving back in the city just to celebrate a night of success. The rapper recently signed with rapper Jay-Z who is owner of the successful “Roc Nation.” Yo Gotti has definitely put Memphis on the map by making the moves in the music industry, proving to Memphians that you can rise up, only if you work hard.
We were also accompanied by singing group Jagged Edge, who performed their top songs which had the whole room singing. You would almost think just by them entering the room that one will get married. The performance was original and had guest standing to their feet. The singing group who was nominated for a Grammy in 2002 performed their top hits including “Let’s Get Married,” & “Where The Party At.” There was nothing like having a original R&B group perform right here in your face, and all of this happened, here in the city of Memphis at the Curtis Givens Birthday Bash/ Black Excellence Gala. See you next year ladies & gents and remember remain humble, yet always ALWAYS be successful in EVERYTHING that you do.
